Pilates is a safe and effective form of low impact exercise which combines breathing with flowing body movements.
The aim of Pilates is to improve posture, balance, strength, coordination, flexibility, breathing efficiency, mind and body awareness.
Older adults Pilates enables you to exercise in a safe and appropriate way to stay active, healthy and independent. Pilates helps people to reduce their risk of falls, manage long term health conditions and joint pains, rehabilitate their body after injury or operations.
The class size is limited to a maximum of 12 people which allows the instructor to tailor the exercises to suit your individual needs and goals.
This class is aimed at older adults. The principles of Pilates will be explained and the exercises will be closely supervised to ensure the correct technique is being adopted.
